In September 1991, Ron Young, the founder of Knowledge Associates Cambridge, wrote a short story in just a few days by applying a creative flow technique that he had learned in a creative writing workshop in London, focused on his curiosity about intuitive knowledge. 

The short story 'Christopher and the Knowledger' is a dialogue between a seeker of deep knowledge about the meaning of life and a wise guide.

At that time, he was also studying AI at Essex University, UK, and its impact on knowledge retention, expert systems and knowledge intensive work. His interest in AI significantly increased In 2015 with the publication of research papers by Google on new AI transformer architecture for neural networks and achievements from Google Deep Mind with 'AlphaGo' and 'AlphaFold'.   

In January 2023, as a generative AI enthusiast, he was curious to ask 'ChatGPT-3' the same deep philosophical questions that he had asked in 1991 in his book Christopher and the Knowledger. To his pleasant surprise the responses and conversations over just a few days provided even more awareness, much new meaning, and much deeper insights. 

He started to systematically compile a written record of all conversations. During 2023 he then added the use of several comparative genAI models, especially 'Claude' from Anthropic and Google 'Gemini' as well as 'ChatGPT-4'. He started to conduct regular critical reviews between these AI models and also between the AI models and his work colleagues. This rapidly renewed his initial research projects, over the years, into both intellectual and intuitive knowledge, underlying principles, and the wise application for more knowledge driven organisations.

In April 2024 he created a special 'GPT' using OpenAI 'GPT Builder'. This GPT is now freely available by exploring the OpenAI GPT Store and searching for 'The Wisdom of the Knowledger'. GPT's are available to all users of ChatGPT-4 here
